Bespoke Kitchen Design

The flexibility of bespoke kitchen design is perhaps one of the most important elements when it comes to create a traditional kitchen for a house in the English country side or simply for a client who is in love with the style of bespoke English kitchens.

There are far too many perceptions and ideas out there that attempt to identify traditional kitchen design making it almost impossible to really pin point or define one style or the other as such, a good look at the history of the kitchen and its manufacturing techniques during the ages should really be considered by every one before they embark in lecturing the market about what is what. One thing however is certain and that is that modern technology and creativity give life to an extraordinary array of designs and combinations to satisfy all sorts of needs, taste and personal client perceptions as kitchen design evolves on every project.

Planning a functional kitchen is only the first step towards a good final result as construction and installation will soon follow. The success of a kitchen project is heavily based on the quality of design. There are many elements that define quality bespoke kitchen design as such ranging from user/equipment interrelationships, circulation, type and position of appliances to specification of construction materials and tecniques, just to mention a few all tied up in the right style and looks.

The kitchen you see in these images was designed by H2O London, built by a local English workshop and installed in a 500 years old house in Suffolk. A lot of thinking effort went into the design of this bespoke kitchen as the main cooking area had to functionally interact and work with the adjacent pantry, breakfast and dining rooms.
